Update: So Life Happens. And everything seems to run in cycles, doesn’t it? Two puppies in this group have been waiting to go to their new homes, paid for and everything arranged with two really lovely families. Until,,, everything unarranged itself and both Acorn & Autumn Leaves didn’t get to leave for Maine or Florida,,, instead, Mama Terry is posting them on the website again as they longingly watched their siblings go off to forever 🏡 I’ve reduced both boys drastically to help them find their way to PUPPY BLISS.

So this little guy wants me to tell everyone that even if your hubby is campaigning for a black Lab so the family could have a “real dog,” you can promise him that they don't get any more real than Acorn! He can do all the stuff a big dog can do in an easy-to-manage size, making dog ownership a joy instead of a headache.

He will bark only when necessary to let you know that someone is at the door and then greet visitors happily; he will guard the castle all night long while you sleep, with his muzzle on his paws, sleeping with one ear and one eye open to make sure that the people he loves stay safe. 

You don't have to be a very big little guy; he says to have a big bark to scare away the boogie man, and you don't have to be very big to swim in the pond or ride on the boat or snuggle with the kids when they don't feel good. You only need a heart as big as the whole wide world, which I promise you he already has.

He’s also sensible and smart and will fit easily in the laundry room sink for his baths (try THAT with a Lab, lol!) And, speaking of Labs that, unfortunately, shed like crazy, Acorn will be hypoallergenic and low to completely non-shed, and did I mention CUTE as a bug’s ear?
