So I know this is ridiculous but if you look at this baby from the side doesn't she remind you of an Old English Sheepdog?

She's got the exact markings and placement of the blue patches that you see on many of that breed, though in an eminently smaller, dare I say, more sensible, kind natured, and brilliantly trainable package then the average OES! Saints preserve us! I've groomed more than a few of those hairy monsters,,, God bless them,,, but oh, I'm glad those days are over! 

I am besotted with my Cavapoo and Cavachon puppy kids. All the wonderful qualities you could hope for in a dog. You won't know until you have one of your own, but there is no better canine companion.

Early this morning, I was enjoying my coffee back in my office, looking out at the sunshine and birds and the goldfish in our back garden and I hear it. Tap, tap, tap, tap, and here comes Hastings, in search of his mom (yep, I'm his mom lol), to see if there's a bite of cookie waiting for him (and of course, always!).

He carefully weaves his way between the legs of my chair and the legs of my desk and MY legs, carefully snuggles down close to my feet and presses his warm furry self against me in the most incredibly soothing, comforting way. I know I do go on Puppy People, but it's true. Get yourself a dog,,, for pity's sake!

You won't know how wonderful it is until you take the plunge and get over fretting that it's going to be too much work or all the 101 reasons you can rob yourself of such a blessing in your life. Take it from one who knows, once you give your heart to a dog you'll never look back and only wonder why you waited so long 💜
