Don't you love the expression on this little blue baby’s face? He is such a character, looking right into the camera like he's trying to figure out what Mama Terry might do next because, as all puppies know, you can never tell what tangent she will be off on when you least expect it! (And, speaking of eyes, don't miss the glints of blue appearing in his; they should lighten as he matures, not as light as Silverado's but a beautiful navy with chips of ice blue!)

There she goes, gathering up chickens and daisies, and oh my gosh, is that the big green flower arrangement from off the foyer wall?!? Yep!!! And now she's got it all arranged for our puppy pics, so we will be all beautified and so irresistibly adorable that we find our way into the hearts of the Puppy People we are going to belong to! Go, Mama Terry!

Lil “Rocket” is absolutely right! I love dreaming up themes for my puppy pictures, and I never walk through Hobby Lobby without my imagination running off with me when I see the most yummy puppy-sized vintage basket or yards and yards of the perfect fabric for a winter backdrop.

Ah, but of course, the main focus is the little adorable ones themselves, all front and center and I wait for each of them to tell their story through the camera’s lens; watching as they peer into the eyes of the chicken who normally lives on the window sill above my kitchen sink.

Rocket Man didn’t know that, he thought it just might be a real chicken after all and his eyes filled with awe to be standing right next to Chickenzilla! Like I said, you never know what Mama Terry will dream up next! 🐔 🍗 🐓
